  • From Kansai International Airport (KIX):

The bus departs from bus stop No. 2, located on the 1st floor outside of the International Terminal 1 building, where you can purchase a ticket at the nearby ticket vending machine or ticket office. Visit the website for the bus line (in Japanese only) or click here to download the current timetables with relevant stops annotated in English.

*As the preventative measures against COVID-19, all Nankai buses operate with a part of the windows open or intake outside air by the equipped air conditioner. In addition, all Nankai buses are equipped with an ozone generator expected to inactivate the floating virus in the air inside the buses. Visit the following webpages for more information (in Japanese only).

https://www.nankaibus.jp/info/8503/ (Overview of the preventative measures against COVID-19)

    https://www.nankaibus.jp/info/46299/ (Information about ozone generators)

*If you would like to take trains instead of limousine buses, we recommend you take the JR Hanwa Line at KIX.  Please see more information in the section “TO SAORINOMORI VIA JR IZUMI-FUCHU STATION” below on this page.

  • From Osaka Itami Airport (handling domestic flights only):
It takes approximately 40 min. by trains or a limousine bus from the Itami Airport to the downtown of Osaka (i.e. Umeda and Namba).  Visit the website of Osaka Itami Airport for more information about transportation.  The Osaka Itami Airport provides a great online tool Itami Accessmoothie to help you find the best route to downtown Osaka and then to Komyoike Station based on your preferences and needs.

  • From Shin-Osaka Station or JR Osaka/Umeda Station:
To clear up any confusion, JR Osaka Station and Umeda Station are the same, just named differently because of the lines that run through them. Take the Midosuji Subway Line (red line) in the direction of Nakamozu Station to Namba Station (JPY280, approx. 20 min from Shin-Osaka Station and JPY230, approx. 10 min from JR Osaka/Umeda Station).

At Namba Station, transfer to the Nankai-Koya Line. The Nankai Line is not a subway line and has several different destinations from Namba Station. Be sure to take the train headed for Izumi-Chuo Station (usually on Track 2) to the second to last stop, Komyoike Station (JPY530, approx. 30–40 min depending on whether or not the train is express).

  • From Tennoji Station:

When you get off the bus, you will be standing beneath the train tracks and see an area with large columns and a circular ramp. Walk to your right (away from that area) to find a taxi stand around the corner. Download and print out this map and show it to the taxi driver. If you have taken a train, walk out of the ticket gate and head to your right, down the stairs, or to the elevator which is before the stairs, on the right hand side.

Walking takes about 20 min. If you plan to walk, we recommend that you print out a map with walking directions, such as this, beforehand.

TO SAORI OSAKA FROM OSAKA/UMEDA STATION

To clear up any confusion, JR Osaka Station and Umeda Station are the same, just named differently because of the train lines that run through them. Since Osaka/Umeda Station buildings are complex, once you get off the train and reach the platform, look at the direction board available on the platform to locate the exit leading to Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda. Upon reaching the store, exit on the ground level and walk in the opposite direction from the Osaka/Umeda station, using the map provided above as a reference. Typically, it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk from Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda to the SAORI Osaka Studio.

The SAORI Osaka Studio is located on the 3rd floor of the building. On the 1st floor of the same building on the street level, you will find a Seven-Eleven. After you have exited the elevator, go to your right, and the door to SAORI Osaka will be on the left hand side down the hall.
